PSN wallet cards, PS Plus and everything in between
Sony sells three different things that all look like a gift card at first glance. A PSN wallet card adds credit you can spend on anything in the PlayStation Store. A PlayStation Plus card adds subscription time — Essential, Extra or Premium — and does not go into your wallet. A game code unlocks one specific title.
This page carries all of them, with the region and the exact duration written into every product title. If you are renewing PS Plus, buy the PS Plus product rather than wallet credit: some regional stores will not let you convert wallet balance into a subscription with a stored card.
- Wallet top-ups from small denominations up to 100 USD
- PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium, 1 to 12 months
- Works on PS4 and PS5 — the account is what matters, not the console
Choosing the right PSN region
PSN codes are region-locked and the lock is strict: a US card will not redeem on a UK, UAE or French account, and Sony blocks the attempt at the redemption screen rather than after purchase.
Your account's region is fixed when the account is created and cannot be changed afterwards. You can read it on your console under Settings ▸ Users and Accounts ▸ Account ▸ Country/Region, or on the web at the top of your account page. Match that to the region in the product title. If you keep more than one account — a common setup for buying region-exclusive titles — make sure you are buying for the account you actually plan to redeem on.
How PS Plus renewals stack
Subscription codes add to the end of your current period instead of replacing it, so buying a 12-month card while you still have two months left gives you fourteen months. There is a cap on how far ahead Sony lets you stack, but for ordinary renewals you can safely buy in advance of expiry.
If you are moving between tiers, redeem the tier you want and let Sony pro-rate the remainder. Upgrading mid-period is handled on the console, not by the code.
Paying from Algeria
PlayStation Store does not accept domestic Algerian cards, and adding a foreign card to a PSN account is the sort of thing that gets a wallet locked. Prepaid codes avoid the problem completely: the payment happens here in dinars, and Sony only ever sees a valid code being redeemed.
We accept CIB and Edahabia through the national payment gateway. Delivery is automatic and does not depend on office hours.
